Kerala is poised to reach 100% of energy need from RE by 2050. Govt. of Kerala gives committed focus to multifold the power generation and to reduce the energy import to the state from the present 70% to 50% by 2030. The On-going & upcoming major RE programs in Kerala includes KSEBL-Saura, ANERT-PM Kusum, MNRE-DBT Scheme. "Kerala Haritha Mission" targets to execute 3000MW Solar plants by On Grid, Off Grid and Hybrid mode from Roof top, Ground mounted, Floating and Wet land. In addition, private sector is expected to invest for atleast 1000MW. E-Mobility,Kerala is poised to be the EV capital of India where present vehicle density is three times national average. Out of three million cars in Kerala One Lakh / million is expected to be EVs and to cater them Five hundred/Five Thousand DC fast chargers expected by 2025 / 2040.

According to calendar year 2023 data; with more than 10% of the new vehicle registrations in the state being EVs; Kerala is in the second position nationwide, after Delhi, in the adoption of eco-friendly vehicles. At this rate, EV sales in the state are set to cross half a lakh in one year for the first time.

The 6th edition of KREEPA GREEN POWER EXPO 2023 from 7-9 December 2023 at Adlux International Convention Centre, Angamaly, Kochi, Kerala shall enable the sponsors and exhibitors to showcase their products and services to the industry's largest gathering of qualified decision-makers of potential buyers/clients from Residential, Institutional, Commercial & Industrial sector, trade visitors etc from all over Kerala as well as neighboring states and regional trade/industry bodies.
