As part of the KREEPA (Kerala Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs & Promoters Association) Green Power Expo- 2022, KREEPA in association with Society Chapters of IEEE, IEEE Education Society Kerala, IEEE Power and Energy Society Kerala and IEEE IA/IE/PELS Jt. Chapter Kerala is announcing a Call for Student Innovators in RE and E-Mobility. The expo will be hosted in Kochi, India, at Bolgatty Palace Event Center from 10th to 12th November, 2022.

Students may submit projects or ideas that are environmentally friendly in areas such as renewable energy and its applications, renewable energy storage, renewable energy converters, electric vehicle charging, battery management, battery safety and the application of IoT and AI to RE & EV, among others.

The winners for this competition will be awarded with the following prize pool :

First Prize - ₹ 25,000

Second Prize - ₹ 15,000

Third Prize - ₹ 10,000

Also there will be guidance and mentorship of experts from MAKER VILLAGE for startup ideas and the IEEE Membership for the first 3 positions will be sponsored by IEEE EdSoc Kerala Chapter. Participation certificates will also be provided.

Guidelines for the competition

• Entry for the competition is free.
• The competition will happen in two stages: Abstract submission and Offline presentation.
• Presentation must be Individual, no team participation is allowed.
• Minimum qualification is +2.
• Last date for abstract submission is 7th November.
